Get the Most Out Of Your Systems
Are you getting the most out of your systems so you can focus on developing your organization?
When I help non-profits and small businesses, I find that they either have a system they’re not comfortable using or they don’t have a CRM or donor management database and are relying on spreadsheets or information in accounting systems to gather information about how the organization is doing. Often those with databases in place also have data quality issues.
Here is a link to a presentation I shared with the La Grange Business Association’s Non-Profit Committee where I posed questions and ideas to consider when moving forward with a new donor database or enhancing an existing donor database. The tips can help you design a system that captures information about your constituency and fundraising and allow you to share the impact of your work.
